Idag presenterades äntligen specifikationer på en av årets mest efterlängtade prylar, Dell Adamo, Världens tunnaste bärbara dator vars närmaste konkurrenter är giganterna Apple Macbook Air och Voodoo Envy 133. Hur den står sig mot sina konkurrenter får framtida test utvisa.

Dell Adamo är tillverkad i ett aluminiumchassi med ett ljuvligt mönster på locket, designen är klart svårslagen. Skärmen är på 13.4-tum med 720p upplösning. På insidan finner vi en 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 processor med integrerad Intel X4500 grafik chipset, 128GB SSD disk, 2 GB DDR minne, 802.11n WiFi och Bluetooth 2.1. I anslutningsväg finns portar för Ethernet, DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA och DVI. Precis som Macbook Air saknar Adamo dvd-spelare, den säljs separat.

Basmodellen beskriven ovan kostar cirka 17,300 kronor ($2000) i USA, räkna dock med ett pris runt 20,000 kronor i Sverige. för ytterliggare $700 får man en snabbare processor och mer minne.

Adamo väger 1.8kg, alltså ett halvt kilo mer än Macbook Air. Den är 16.4 millimeter tjock på det tunnaste stället, vilket gör den till världens tunnaste bärbara dator. Batteritiden uppges till 5 timmar.

Från och med 26 mars kan man beställa sin svenska version av Dell Adamo på Dell’s hemsida, först måste du dock bestämma dig om du vill ha den i Pärlemor-vit eller Onyx-svart.

Uppdatering: I Sverige kostar Basversionen 22,990 kronor och premiumversionen (uppgraderad cpu, minne och inbyggt mobilt bredband) 30,990 kronor.
